With ace actors Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh playing cricketers in their upcoming films, a comparison is bound to happen. However, the Kabir Singh actor recently clarified how ‘Jersey’ and ‘83’ though based on the sport of cricket, are still poles apart. During a recent event, the actor shed light on various aspects of his upcoming film and his preparations for the same.
Shedding light on how Jersey is different from ’83, he was quoted saying by IANS, “‘Jersey' is a very personal film. It's a human journey and it touched me deeply. It's a very emotional film, so I am guessing both films must have their individual identity. I am definitely looking forward to watching ‘83.” Whereas talking about ’83 he said, “‘83 is a wonderful subject and I wish all the best to the makers of that film. It's about India's triumph in the 1983 Cricket World Cup and that's something everybody wants to watch."
